Wyndham Destinations
Travel + Leisure
Scarf on America
We engaged with Travel+Leisure to work on a variety of high-profile brand marketing and public relations projects for their Wyndham Destinations timeshares. The challenge was to break through the sales-heavy competitive landscape of the timeshare industry with a fresher, story telling approach. In a challenging post-pandemic travel market, how could we hook attention, get people smiling, and maybe even make some news?
The power of pop culture
When you hear the mention of timeshares, toasting the perfect s’more with Patrick Renna is probably the furthest thing from your mind, but in the concept, we saw a way to reflect a playful brand spirit while hooking attention toward all the things you experience on property. This allowed us to separate Wyndham Destinations from widely held negative notions of other timeshare products.
The humor and personality of the spots stepped into the joy of being on vacation — especially for young parents — who hold a nostalgic soft spot for The Sandlot movies. We discovered that this reference to their own childhoods was an extremely powerful point of connection when planning travel for their own families. The results were simply astounding.

Follow-up campaigns created in partnership with Hallmark and the Elf movie
Building on the success of National S’Mores Day, two follow-up campaigns were created in partnership with Hallmark and the Elf movie. Set designers and art directors made Wyndham hotel rooms come to life, replicating the magic of Gimbels department store in the movie Elf, and of the iconic holiday scenes from Hallmark Channel. Visitors could actually stay in the suites. A series of short form videos were created to feature in media.
